New GTA: Chinatown Wars details |
Ó
A drug dealing game on squeaky-clean Nintendo's DS console? That's exactly what GTA: Chinatown Wars is. Today we've got a few more details on the game. The drug-dealing aspect, as we previously mentioned, involves identifying market demands and meeting them. Players will be given a map that shows what people want and what prices they're willing to pay. Players can then go buy the needed merchandise in a neighborhood where it's available and then sell it to the people who want it.
Speaking of maps, the one in Chinatown Wars will be almost as big as the one in Grand Theft Auto 4. Each of the latter game's boroughs will be in Chinatown Wars except for Alderney.
To help them make more money in the drug trade, players will have access to a GPS and a PDA. Marking a point on the GPS using the touchscreen shows the "shortest legal route" players need to take to get to their destination.
Players can also hail cabs, but I don't really recommend doing this in public, since you have to whistle into the DS mic to hail one.
