There can only be room for one, but you have a choice. Is it gonna be rules or is it gonna be thrills? This is what you'll be facing in the newest member of Electronic Arts' Need for Speed franchise, the mega-multiplatformer Need for Speed: Undercover. (PS3, Xbox 360, PC, PS2, DS, Wii, PSP)

See if you're feeling the game; we've got the exclusive G-Mac trailer right here. It's got a certain Most Wanted feel, although this one seems darker and more action-pakced -- if that's even possible.

"You gotta be prepared, but in your preparation you gotta be ready to do whatever it takes." Are you ready?

Ha!, typo on "Neef for Speed franchise" but hey we're all human. Anywho hope this one turns out better than Prostreet.

pro street was a VERY good attempt by EA to promote taking racing off the streets and to the track. Unfortunatly it also started to enroach on the territory of forza and Gran Turismo, and when compared to those it was just not as good!

The trailer makes the game look promising, and I bet the story line should be interesting....... obviously you start as an undercover cop who somehow gets thrown in to bring this guy down. You have to gain rep on the streets by racing rivals, somewhere along the way you have to make the decision of staying true to the streets and walking from your cop job, or stay true to your "mission" and bring this guy in. So you get alternate endings, and a chance to see the game from 2 different sides.

So, who thinks EA is still just turning out games with no inovation???

I wonder if this is going to be like that same ol' Need For Speed Underground, Need For Speed Underground 2, Need For Speed Most Wanted, Need For Speed Carbon, or Need For Speed ProStreet.

...Nah.

» Gah

From the look of it at the end, seems like midnight club.

I say to hell with NFS, the old ones like underground were good but these suck.

That is all.

I guess there is still hope then.

When EA only sells 5,634,777 copies instead of 5,634,780 you three will have sent them a HUGE message about making sucky games by NOT buying!!!

I will probably get it. Mostly because the games are fun for what they are. How innovative can you get with a street racing game? About all you can do is juice up the graphics, ad some better lighting effects and make a good story. I play games now for a story, not for how innovative they are.

» I agree

If you are not even gonna give it a chance don't wine and compare when you don't even know if it's good or not wait till you try it.Get the demo when it gets released, try it.Don't like it don't but it.

» might buy this one.

Now that they aren't just churning them out every 2 months, they had time to polish this one. Might pick it up. I still miss NFS Hot Pursuit 2 (last good NFS imo)
