ndsmailBronto has released his new NDSMail SSL Test Version for well, testing. NDSMail, in case the name of this homebrew application isn't obvious enough, allows you to send and receive email on your DS. It has SMTP support so you don't need to log on to a PC just to forward chain letters, crude jokes, or personal stuff.

In NDSMail v.045, Bronto added multi mail account support, separators, and "stability." After that he went to work on the ssl lib. The ssl lib will allow NDSMail  to support Gmail and other ssl-only mail providers. The changelog for this test version inlcudes:
  • Bugfixes
  • Partially working STP over SSL
  • Doesn't write dump files
  • Non-ssl support is still not functioning
  • Less debug messages
One more thing, Bronto has this little word of caution before you install this test version: "USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!"
