I can tell you that they arent getting them from wal-mart. After I saw the reports about the street date being broken, I called several wal-mart stores, ebgames, and Target stores. Only one store out of about 30 i called had any. Wal-Mart. I asked her to read me the box, and give me the price. She confirmed it was the DS Lite for $129.88. I told her that I was 1.5 hours away, and to hold it for me. I gave her my personal info, and started the journey. I was EXCITED. I get there, walk to the back to the elect. dept. I saw a cabinet stocked with the DS Lites. I almost freaked out. I went to the counter to get mine. The lady I had spoken to pulled my DS Lite from under the counter. She went to ring it up, and guess what ! "SELL NOT ALLOWED". She hadnt ever seen this, but I already knew what it meant. She tried a few other things. No GO ! I was already pissing all over the place. I was mad as hells fury. I told her to ring up one of the other DS packages since they were the same price. I almost had her convinced, then she said she'd have to call a manager first. Manager shows up. He explains the mix-up. I explain how I just drove 70+ miles on the employees word that she had it ready to sale. I gave the manager the "what for" and explained I'd be filing a complaint with their home office, and the Better Business Bureau. Not because he wouldnt sale it to me, but because their ignorance costed me 140+ miles driving. A WASTE ! So.. that's my story. While I was standing there doing my best not to strangle the manager, two employees came and removed 30+ DS Lites from their shelves. It took all my power not to snatch one ! lol.
