Ginew, Freeza, Vegeta - Image 1Before the merge with Namco, Bandai has always been the publisher to watch when it came to Dragon Ball games. To this day, now as Namco Bandai, the publisher remains to be the world's Dragon Ball game provider, and that tradition continues with two more as Namco Bandai formally announces Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo and Dragon Ball Z: Attack of the Saiyans.

Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo combines the action and adventures of young Son Goku with the crazy humor from the comedy that Dragon Ball was originally set out to be. The game will feature voicework and music from the original anime, and the visuals will keep true to Akira Toriyama's original design. Fight against the Red Ribbon Army and King Piccolo himself in Story mode, or unlock the Versus Mode and take your unlocked characters to the arena. Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo will come to the Nintendo Wii on Autumn 2009.

Dragon Ball Z: Attack of the Saiyans, however will not be as funny. Following the franchise's shift from the humorous to the incredibly powerful, the storyline will begin with Goku's victory over Piccolo. As the name implies, you'll have a date with big bro Raditz, and quite possibly have a go against Nappa and Vegeta. Dragon Ball Z: Attack of the Saiyans will hit European and PAL stores also on Autumn of 2009 for the NIntendo DS.
