The games Pokemon Diamond Version and Pokemon Pearl Version, both published by Nintendo and developed by Game Freak, have been promised to arrive on April 22. In addition to the 380 Pokemon already discovered, there will be an additional 100 Pokemon that will be in these new edition. What do the games have to offer Pokemaniacs?

Features:
  • Import Pokemon from their Game Boy Advance games
  • Fully Wi-Fi compatible (meaning players can log onto Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection)
  • Compete with players all around the world through the Nintendo Wi-Fi connection.
  • Battles can include up to seven other trainers.
  • Online trades are possible
  • Online ranking system
  • Players who have entered one another's Friend Codes can communicate using this Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP)
  • 480 Pokemon to collect and raise.
  • Control the Pokédex using the touch screen controls of the Nintendo DS
When Pokemon Diamond and Pearl were released in Japan, they sold faster than any other iteration in the Pokemon series of games. Can we expect the same from its US release? Pre-ordering for both games starts on March 18 - those who pre-order will receive a free collectible stylus.
