Obsessive compulsive gamers rejoice! A-Station magazine has released some new scans of the upcoming fantasy Harvest Moon-like game Rune Factory 2 from Marvelous Interactive. While the game still doesn't have any set release dates outside of Japan so far, the initial images seen from the scan are looking pretty good.
For those of you who aren't familiar with the series, Rune Factory 2 takes off directly from its previous iteration after Raguna and Mist unravel the plot behind the Sechs Empire's plans to take over the Norad Kingdom.
The new protagonist as well as his token female companion is depicted in the scan, but since it's in Japanese, only the more fluent gamers can understand what's in store for the game.
Rune Factory 2 is slated for a January 3 release in Japan. While there's been no word on its release for other parts of the world, we hope that the developers get a working translation of the game up and running soon.
