More Gamestop bargains from May 26 to June 17 - Image 1

We recently covered EB Games giving massive discounts on their products. GameStop looks to be jumping on the same bandwagon and has announced its already ongoing sale, dropping the price of the products they carry by as much as 50%.

Included in the sale are numerous PSP UMD movies, PSP games such as Dragonball Z Shin Budokai, Gamecubes with copies of Zelda: The Twilight Princess, PS2 Games, Xbox 360 games such as Eragon and Chrome Hounds, controllers, accessories and much more. Those who have been waiting to spend their hard earned simoleons cash, this may be the right time to head down to GameStop and avail of their promos.

You can check out the entire scope of their promo by clicking on our read link. Be sure to keep checking back here for more deals and promos from your favorite retail stores.

gamestop and EB = same company now for awhile, well EB bought out gamestop at least. Thats why they are "jumping on the same bandwagon "

o_o Seemed kind of obvious to me that this would happen. Maybe it's just me though. Same company owns them both.

Gamestop bought out EB. They are the exact same company, besides the name and logo.

They will most likely merge into one store in the future, most EBG's now are turning into Gamestops.

its Gamestop that bought EBGames...and they have been the same exact store for a while. This is why you can use your Edge card at the two along with any Rhino Games, FuncoLand, Babbages (spl), etc. They have always had the same deals, and thus this is just a repeat post from pspupdates.

Merger of equals? Meh. It doesn't matter, do the reviewers at QJ even know what they are talking about or are they just trying to create blog flaming? Regardless, GameStop and EBGames are under the GameStop, INC. umbrella. EBGames is probably going to be phased out because it is no longer under the same chairmen of the original Electronics Boutique label however EBGames former president of stores became the new president of stores for the new GameStop so I guess you could say that EBGames bought GameStop and kept GameStop's name??? Or should you say Barnes And Noble gobbled them... Either way, both companies are the same and QJ really need to become more educated...

If the game wasnt in the bin and should be cheaper, the discount will be done at the register. We dont take the games off the walls, just put new copys into the bin. you will have your 15 dollars off
