Lazyone's Macintosh Plus emulator called MiniVMac has had its share of highs and lows during the past couple of days. Although, he has proven that early Macintosh emulation is indeed possible, the output he produced wasn't exactly what he was hoping for. Maybe to clear his thoughts, he worked on tracking down a sound bug with Wolfenstein 3D first, before delving into MiniVMac. And on July 12, 2006, with the much appreciated help of the people from DSDev, the display corruption on the MiniVMac has been fixed. In this photo, it shows the emulator looking for a startup disk.

Just to refresh your memory, the Macintosh Plus was the third model in the Macintosh line, introduced two years after the original Macintosh and a little more than a year after the Macintosh 512K. It even made an appearance on Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home and Back to the Future II.
