Myst for the DS packshot - Image 1Many players loved the PC version of the video game Myst, and though we were glad that it came to the PlayStation Portable (adventuring on the go), some were secretly hoping that it'll come to the DS. Well, it finally did.

Midway Games announced that it will be releasing Myst for the Nintendo DS. The upcoming video game will sport the overhauled source codes designed specifically for the DS' gameplay. The world of Myst will also be expanded to give way to a new age called the Rime Age. It also boasts of remastered sounds and visual a multiple save game feature for a number of players.

So are you ready to solve Myst's numerous puzzles and mysteries on the DS? You still have a few months to practice as the game is set to be released this November. We'll get you more info on this once they're released. In the meantime, check out the images below for an idea of what's to come.

Woo! Looks good. Hopefully it's not static environments though.

I'm glad Myst is making its way to DS, it didn't make sense why PSP received a traditionally point-and-click game before DS.
