Mega Man ZX: A Review |
Ó
Game sequels have it tough. They need to ensure that the same elements as the original is there and at the same time provide something fresh and exciting that'll be better than the previous one. A great example would be the Megaman Franchise. It started with the SNES, then GBA, PSX, and now with the Nintendo DS. According to an article we read, the Megaman games almost count to a hundred. Definitely, there will be some good and better games. Will the new game, Megaman ZX, be a good or a better one? We read the review and will give you the highlights.
The gameplay is just right on track. According to the writer it "is fast, fluid, and full of fury." As was mentioned last time, the other big bosses in the other Mega Man Zero and X games, adding more to the depth of this game. Players can also choose the level of difficulty in this game. If the game is pretty easy, but the hardest setting is a walk through a warzone with everyone gunning at the character. The writer also liked the animated shorts to help the story move along, with the animation in video or out is just as beautiful as it can be.
There's a need to improve in the next seque, however, as the writer thought that the game needs to develop more on the game presentation. To him, it looks like a GBA game in a DS handheld. The top screen was used for the game, while the bottom half was used for the model-specific attacks and abilities. Some of them needing to be touched. It goes blank when in human or ZX form. According to the writer, it shouldn't be left useless.
According to the writer, the move from the GBA to the DS was almost perfect except for some minor hiccups. The bottom half should have more uses. Besides that, the writer recommends new Megaman fans to pick this up and have fun with it.

Mega Man started on the NES/Famicom. Mega Man X started on the SNES.
It's a great game. Feels like X-3. I am a sucker for the Zero series though, honestly they are better than X, X-3, you name it. Megaman Zero for GBA was a masterpiece. This game is very good, hmm how do i say this? Better than Megaman Zero 3-4, As good as X-3, Not quite X, megaman Zero 1
