Sony PSP - Image 1

And now for our weekly report on the hardware sales from Japan. Media Create has released the numbers for the week of November 9th through November 15th.

And what do we have here? The PSP riding on top of the charts? Followed by the PS3? Long-reigning king DSi settles in at #3. It will probably take some getting used to in that position.

  1. PSP 38,770
  2. PS3 38,498
  3. DSi 33,749
  4. Wii 26,764
  5. PSP go 6,427
  6. DS Lite 5,036
  7. Xbox 360 4,124
  8. PS2 2,031

I'm more surprised that the DSi wasn't 1st. 360; everyone already knows Japanese(and fanboys) don't like it.

LOL look at the Go. I still want one. But then again only if CFW was available for it.

are monthly so you'll have to wait unti December for the next lot. The PS3 has outsold the 360 for the last 2 months though in the US.

Sales should be better for the 360 in November as nearly 1 million people may seek to replace their banned console only to mod it again with the next ixtreme update.

That was a good tactic by MS to ensure high sales leading into the Xmas period. This is probably why they also chose to increase the 360 Arcade price in September.

So far not a good tactic with the older population not buying 360's for grand children and other family members for the fear of Microsoft's ban hammer long live the PS3.

IT DOES EVERYTHING.

If they get sales is cuz the misleading add... is just bull*****. They show the game and the console for sale like if the game was only on XBOX360... some people just dont know and might even buy the console for it :P

"everyone already knows Japanese(and fanboys) don't like it."

I suppose that would be a fair thing to say if it wasn't for the fail rate of the 360

so, japanese are fanboys for buying good quality products, so are europeans, and so are australian, and south americans. so, the only fanboys are the ones that buy ***** broken products because they are advertised everywhere. Mediocraty for all, standard for those who have brains.
