coolWell, here's something nifty for your DS: a cartridge that allows you to watch movies and listen to music, and even launch your homebrew. Max Music for the Nintendo DS from CodeJunkies.com fits right in the DS-card slot and also makes use of generic Micro SD memory cards to store your movies, games, and music.

It comes with a supplied USB Micro SD Card Reader for quick file transfers, as well as a  PC application that allows you to convert video files to a format the DS supports. It currently retails for US$ 39.99 and sports the following features:
  • Uses cheap and convenient Micro SD cards.
  • Play back video and audio material.
  • Great for launching home brew apps.
  • Includes dedicated PC program for video conversion.
  • Intuitive, easy-to-use interface.
Hmm, is it too late to amend your wish list?

I hope that the homebrew community picks up in the DS world - however, the limitations are sever compared to the psp's homebrew scene. Nice addition to the ds library though. :)

I just wanted to add in here - before something gets flammed needlessly - this isn't meant to be any slight against either of the handhelds. Please don't turn this into a psp vs ds argument. Thx

CodeJunkies should have made this first them the MMD (max media dock), I feel that the Max music cartridge should have been made first.
