Mario

I guess one of Mario's appeal to me - and many of the young gamers - was his wholesomeness. But as years went by and gamers got older, Mario's child-like innocence became a little off. Yes, gamers still enjoyed playing his games but his media persona was still too...clean.

In an age when The Simpsons and Family Guy showed us that cartoon characters can have a bit of an attitude, Mario's clean-cut image can sometimes be overbearing. But just how will people react when they start seeing Mario carrying a different stance and saying things like, "Oh that's alright, I don't give a ----!"?! Let this video give us the answer. Click on the 'Read' link below and watch a whole new Mario...let us know what you think of this "reinvented" Nintendo character.

» Mario is great no matter his persona

That video was hilarious. Luka... I am your papa... thats funny stuff!

» pretty funny

The video was funny, but the writer needs to think things over. I do not agree that Mario should become The Simpson's or Family Guy. I would never let my little kids watch those shows. I don't care if Nintendo gets some tuff, more mature games. But shouldn't they leave the family games family friendly?

» R Kelly pisses on this vid

mario has been a huge part in family friendly entertainment and R Kelly opposses changing him into a dirty character.. i mean wouldnt it be better just to leave a character the way he is and just create a newer one for the older crowd? R Kelly loves family entertainment that's why i made a new vide of me peeing on an entire family and they did nt even ask me too...i just walked out on a balcony at the first showing of star wars episode one and let fire..apparently the movie stunk so bad no one noticed the fragrance of my potent stream.

» Funny!

Charles Martinet, the voice of Mario since Super Mario 64, was the one doing the voice there. He was apparently entertaining people as they waited to play the DS at E3 2004. Remember, E3 is an 18-or-older event, so I belive his behaviour was appropriate. ^-^

I like Mario like this. A character with an actual personality!

» Another video

Yeah, came across this last year, but yeah, anyways, its just a rehash of what he did, but you do get to see the actual voice actor, Charles Martinet
