M3 DS SimplyJust yesterday we laid eyes upon the first images and information on the M3 DS Simply, and now, only a day later, pre-orders are being accepted by Divineo (China). Even if you are not a resident of China, you are able to purchase this product from Divineo.cn and will get the same great price that the M3 team has placed for this new product. The most shocking bit of news that comes with this is the pre-order price! At under 50$, you will be able to purchase this great cart.

Previous cartridges (slot-2) from the M3 and G6 team have been priced in the range of 80$, but with this new device it seems that you will only have to pay about half of that for the same great service. You may ask yourself, why is this so low compared to their previous cartridges? Simple, the M3 DS Simply does not support GBA files like some of their expensive slot-2 devices. No slot-1 device at this point in time supports GBA mode. The M3 DS Simply will hopefully turn out to be another great product from the M3 team, possibly beating off the #1 competitor in the scene, the DS-Xtreme.

» Waiting game

I'm going to wait and see what the SuperCard version is like as well as what the compatibility is like on all of them.

They all talk about drag and drop compatibility, but I noticed on the SuperCard site that you need flashing software if you want software reset in all your games, so I would imagine they all need that.

Also I will want to know about save game compatibility, I will want to be able to transfer my Animal Crossing, Brain Training, Tetris DS etc saves across as I'm not losing all that progress.

"No slot-1 device at this point in time supports GBA mode."

DSLink does, so long as you have their GBA flash cart in the GBA slot (GBALink).

» Who did the math on this one...

When did "about half" of $80 become $50 ? It's closer to two thirds the cost.

I wonder if this biased site will ever mention the EZ V, slot 1 based cart that'll be out soon ?

As the first extra flash memory game cartridge, SuperCard team has been working in developing new features in the past three years. With the simple but practical functions, SuperCard has gained a great popularity of gamer in the world. After a long period of development, our team finally come up the new version -- SUPERCARD DS(ONE), which is the best Slot 1 solution.

I should've clairifed by the "no gba-mode". I meant that no slot-1 device can run GBA ROMS of any sort (standalone) as we are looking at a single product, not more than one in terms of another slot-2 device to work with this.

Also, the previously announced price of 25$ was too good to be true (as I stated earlier) and that it may be inaccurate. This was most likely a mistake in the Chinese -- English translations, or a missinformed consumer.

I was wondering if this could support things such as GBC roms, and if not what roms can it support?
