Remember Kai, the main character from Elebits? Yes, the rumor is true, but we're going to see him again with his newfound Elebit friend Zero in the Nintendo DS instead of the Wii in their latest game Elebits: The Adventures of Kai and Zero, according to Konami's official statement about the game's release.

The main premise of the game seems to be the same: you need to seek out the energy-providing Elebits and befriend them so they'll provide energy to everyday objects.

With the help of the Elebits, players will plow through the game by solving puzzles and fulfill quests by revealing hidden paths, freeze water, and lifting rocks, among others. However, that's not the only thing that's good about Elebits for the DS: up to four players can connect and compete with each other head to head over the Nintendo Wi-Fi connection.

Excited? We don't know about you, but we sure are. The game is slated to be released sometime in Fall 2008, along with the other much-awaited games such as Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia, also for the DS.

» Yay!

I must say, elebits for the wii is one of the most under apreciated games on the console. it is PURE FUN at its greatest. its perfect for both hardcore gamers and casual gamers because of its gameplay. The graphics are beutiful... very detailed for a Wii game. The physics is simply amazing. Everything you move will move realistically. IMO this is a great game that anyone who owns a wii should get. And i CANNOT wait for this sequal... woohoo!
