Kicking (and punching) it oldschool - trailer for Dragon Ball Kai

Remember the good old Dragon Ball days when Goku and the gang couldn't destroy planets with a single fart? When it took so much grunting just to throw one little ball of Ki? Let's all take a look back when Akira Toriyama's creation was still pretty well-balanced and when the Saiyans were just insanely powerful @#$%^s and not yellow-haired gods. Trailer for Dragon Ball Kai coming right up.

I liked Dragon Ball better when the likes on Yamcha and Piccolo were still significant contributors to the team. It gets so cheesy when only the Saiyans get to fight major pains like Buu and Baby. The blasts they throw could wipe out planets, but they take several episodes to wipe each other out. Sheesh.

Anyway, Dragon Ball Kai takes us back to a time without all the overpowered rubbish and back to Goku's first adventures as an adult. Yes, big bro Raditz is flying in for the ride. Your lineup will will be Goku, Gohan, Piccolo, Yamcha, Tenshinhan, and Krillin, and any three of them can fight in your party at a time, while others play benchwarmers.

Perform combos, block attacks, level up, and boost your fighters' attributes. There's plenty of room for customization here, perhaps more than the usual RPG in terms of stats.

Have to say, this one brought old memories back. Nostalgic much?
