Even more proof that Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days will see a 2008 release (at least, in Japan): the official Japanese website for the Kingdom Hearts DS spin off is finally up, with a few tidbits available for your perusal - only in Japanese.

So far, the website only yields character profiles for both Roxas and Axel, as well as a short background on the events of Kingdom Hearts 328/2 Days. According to the Story section, the game will take place during Roxas' time with Organization XIII, and will also deal with the appearance of the new 14th member within the Organization.

Those looking for solid proof of the game's 2008 release will be disappointed, however, since the Information section of the webpage doesn't yield anything pertaining to Kingdom Hearts 328/2 Days' release date. The game hasn't been rated in Japan yet as well, but is already scheduled for its CERO examination.

The launching of the website may not be the definite proof that you're looking for, but the horizon of KH 358/2's eventual Japanese release date may indeed be lurking around the corner.
