Pokemon HeartGold/ SoulSilver - Image 1Here's another Pokemon milestone, straight from the Pokemon-loving shores of Japan. In just two little days from release, the latest DS Pokemon installments, HeartGold and SoulSilver, have already fetched over 1.4 million copies sold.

Launched on September 12 into the retail store wilderness, both titles have accumulated 1,408,980 sales points, as reported by Famitsu. No, they sure don't love their Pokemons there, don't they? Not at all.

HeartGold and SoulSilver offers updated graphics from its original Game Boy Color release in 2000, as well as new touch screen features. They also have that pedometer called Poke Walkers.

US and Europe will be getting these titles in Spring of 2010.

Hey, no one gets too old for Pokemon. I've been playing since it came out in high school. I played it with the kids at the summer camp I worked at, it was great. I still enjoy the games, I guess I'm a Nintendo kid at heart after all....

» I still like it

Pokemon is masterfully crafted for addiction :) Some of the new crap in the later ones with beauty contest and that jazz are a step in the wrong direction, but the core mechanics (battle, capture, trade etc) work very well.

When an english ver drops I'll be sure to dl it.

I'm sorry but this is just sad, If you played 1 pokemon game you played them all.

» welll

i recently played throught pokemon Yellow again (mew glitch and whatnot) and it was nice....but all of these pokemon games that came out afterwards.....gold/silver was as far as i will accept when it comes to pokemon...

its quite repetitive...like Dynasty Warriors (equips musou-proof suit)

but yeah, this remake will probably be the last Pokemon i'll play....unless they remake Yellow!
