To add to the promotion of Ubisoft's new "Guitar Hero in your pocket" rhythm sim, here are a couple of videos featuring some well-known artists strumming a few tunes on Jam Sessions for the Nintendo DS.

In the first video, we have Kyle McDonald, one of the guitarists from the popular band Slightly Stoopid, showing off his skills while chilling on a relaxing day. The second video has Josh Grubb from Vietnam with a soulful rendition of Bob Marley's "No Woman, No Cry". Both give credit to Jam Sessions ability to simulate an actual guitar, which just goes to show that while Jam Sessions was meant to be a guitar sim where even relative novices can learn to play the guitar, when put in the hands of a real talented musician, it can really put some soul into the blues.

Jam Sessions is slated for an October release and will be coming out exclusively for the Nintendo DS, so musically inclined gamers can expect this one by then. Till then, enjoy the videos!
