Ó

Apart from the initial info we dished out for you on Ubisoft's Jam Sessions DS offering, here's something more tangible for you guys to hold on to. This one here is a video of a GameVideos intern rockin' it out with the game, and it ought to give you a more concrete idea of how this Guitar Hero-ish title will appeal to your musical tastes.

As you will see from the vid, Jam Sessions provides a freer sound trip, with you being able to decide how you'll play your own riffs as well as how you'll time your strumming. It sure looks really promising and über fun. And it ain't so hard to imagine spacing out with this game on your handheld, just like what happened to the intern, especially when your whiling away on some really dumdays.

Keep it posted here for more updates. We'll be sure to get it for you cos, oh yeah, we're definitely interested in this one, too.

Fun

This actually looks like it might be a fun way to kill time when you're bored, but don't feel like playing a regular game. Plus, I'm betting it will be cheaper than an actual guitar, unless it somehow gives you magical powers or something. Actually, I'd totally pay for that.

Oh, also...

...I don't know how they came up with those silly little songs, but I loved them. The Gamejew Theme Song had me cracking up, and the one about the Wii was hilarious.

I am getting this game

No doubt about it. Games (applications?) like this continue to prove that my DS Lite was a good investment. :)
