They said they would have a huge announcement about FF7 that would shock fans. Having a demo of FFXIII wouldn't shock fans of FF7. That is more of shocking news for FFXIII but really that isn't even shocking at all.

"The Japanese release date [for FF7ACC] has been decided, but it will have to wait (probably to the event DK%u03A33713 in early August) so that it is unveiled. Nomura also notes that a big announcement that should accompany the release date, without giving more details."



They didn't say it was about FF7, nor did they say it would shock fans. Simply, they just said it would be a big announcement.



People have been blowing this thing out of proportion from day one. If anything, the announcement makes me think it would have to do with Advent Children--which means the already announced news that a PS3 bundle with a FFXIII demo is coming out may be it--even though I'm hoping it's not.
