Developer Neumann announces to the homebrew community">homebrew community that his first project for the Nintendo DS has just been updated. Homer and the Lost Donut Alpha version 0.3 has leveled up with better graphics and new elements that will definitely make the game more exciting.

In the alpha 0.1 version of the game, there was only one playable level, and when it was updated, 3 levels and a new police force were the only additions. In this update, the homebrew developer saw it fit to up the graphics and include moving obstructions to make playing the relatively easy game more challenging. And why "relatively", you ask? It's really hard to not let the donut touch the walls in each level (especially with those trembling hands). He also added a stop watch in this version.

But once you have those trembling hands under control, it's going to be a lot easier to achieve the goal of the game - and that's to lead the lost donut back to Homer's open... mouth. This is still an alpha version though, so the game only has 4 levels, and the level where we finally see Homer tasting his sweet donut has not been added yet. Neumann tells us though that he's thinking of adding another level where the maze will be the digestive tract itself. Cool!

So try out the game and let Neumann know what you think of his first DS homebrew game, Homer and the Lost Donut. Enjoy!

you're going to need a SuperCard and a memory card reader. Just drop the file on the SD card (that comes with the SuperCard).
