Homemade Super Mario Question Mark Boxes Bring in Bomb Squad |
Ó
Ever wanted to make your own Super Mario World? Well be careful because five teenage girls from Portage County, Ohio face potential criminal charges after
attempting to play a real-life version of Super Mario Bros. The Portage County Hazardous Materials Unit and Bomb Detection Unit were
called in to downtown Ravenna on Friday morning after seventeen suspicious
packages -- boxes wrapped in gold wrapping paper with question marks spray
painted on them -- had alarmed residents.
The Ravenna Police Department will be working with the Portage County Prosecutor's Office regarding possible criminal charges as a result of the game.

thats so jokeS lol :D
One of the worst mistakes i've heard of... 16 year old girls made the bomb squad come with their "Dirty Block Bombs". This wants to make me puke.
er you should delete this. It's an April's Fool and you're posting it on the 2nd :(
Jack Thompson, where are you?
THIS IS A TOTAL LOAD OF BS! Who in their right mind would have criminal charges?!?!!? Total disgrace, next thing you know, they're press charges with kids playing tag cause it involes contact.

If this is indeed real, then that is just stupid beyond words... Poor girls.
I hope this is just a joke... If it is, LOL! If not, that is so sad...
this is real, it was on my news this morning, i live in cleveland, thats why it was on my news, they shouldnt face charges for it though, i dont think they wanted to blow people up
its sadthat we can no longer see innocent and fun things anymore.... creativity and fun are thrown away because of a few idiotic people in the neighborhood who apparently never heard of super mario bros. bet you it was a bunch of elderly people who called inthe suspicious packages.. "911? OMG theres cardboard boxes hanging from my tree and they have ? on them!!! osama is in my neighborhood!! there trying to bomb my house from my tree!! help meeeee!!!" ugh.
Very much an example of what America has come to. Constant paranoia led an innocent joke to be viewed as some sort of bomb threat.
lol i live like less than an hour away from ravenna! i wish i could have seen them. and the local news didn't report this at all.
