Heller: World at War will have better multiplayer than CoD4 |

Bold claim. That's all I can say. Bold claim. There's been some rather harsh skepticism leveled at developer Treyarch's idea that Call of Duty: World at War (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, DS) will be superior to all other CoD titles.
And why not? It sounds presumptuous in the extreme to say that they can do anything to top Call of Duty 4 (Xbox 360, PS3)on either the singleplayer or multiplayer front.
Activision senior producer Noah Heller has Treyarch's back, however, and supports their seemingly inflated notions about CoD 5. "I think it feels much better than any Call of Duty I've had a chance to play," he said.
In an interview with Videogamer.com about what CoD 5 is going to be doing for its multiplayer, he said that they mostly asked themselves what can be added to CoD 4 to make it even better?
For one, they'll be adding a Co-op mode to rake in even people who normally don't play multiplayer. Tanks will also make an appearance, as will squad options, like choosing to be a squad leader and then setting waypoints for your teammates. You can revive teammates now and play with nerve gas and signal flares (does anyone else think think this is starting to sound like Battlefield: CoD). Some of the more popular game modes from the other CoD's will be brought back, such as "War."
Heller also noted a number of minor tweaks that should improve the overall feel and solidity of the experience. New weapons with new attachments, a raised level cap and new or modified perks, just to name a few.

havnt played it, but i doubt this can do much better than cod4, i think it will be way better in some terms, i like the waypoint, (but then again how often will it be used, maybe in a slow game like search and destroy)
also tanks, please god no, NO VEHICLES
while Vehicles are cool, they totally destroy gameplay, slowing hte game down, and having everyone rush to get into a tank etc, its also is just total skilless, and just it just ruins games
anyway the reason for my decision is, while it looks best on paper, i think IW had the controls and the movement of the player dead on, and i cant see this being shared between studios, even though they did have a talk
cod4 brillant movement as made it impossible for me to go play any other FPS

Therefore, I have a valid reason to doubt the words of any man that shares that name
