Gyakuten Saiban gets PC-fied - Image 1

We've got some good news for all those fans of the Ace Attorney series of games. Apparently, Capcom and Daletto have joined forces to port the Gyakuten Saiban trilogy into a downloadable PC game.

Unlike most PC games, however, it seems the Gyakuten Saiban trilogy will be sold as episodic content rather than as full games. From checking the site, it seems the first piece of Gyakuten Saiban 1, more commonly known as Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney to us, will come out on March 18, and will be free to download.

Each subsequent episode will cost players 120 Yen (US$ 1.17), and will come in 17 parts (16, if you don't include the freebie). They'll be doing the same treatment for the second and third games, in which the first episode of each game will be free to download.

Gyakuten Saiban 2 (Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Justice for All) will come out on April 15, while Gyakuten Saiban 3 (Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations) will get the PC treatment on May 13.

In any event, there doesn't seem to be any word of this PC approach getting the English treatment. We'll keep you updated on any word we get about this as it happens.

This is silly. These games already appeared on the PC. And "episodic content"? They're breaking up each case into individual episodes? WORST IDEA EVER.
