Gyakuten Saiban 2 also comes in English |
Ó

We're guilty of loving Capcom's dramatic lawyer sim, and you could say we've been sentenced to bask in the sheer awesomeness that is Phoenix Wright. While the American version of the game, known as Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Justice for All, will be out next year, you can actually get by that little problem of waiting by taking a sneaky, yet completely legal, means of getting the game.
The answer's simple really: Get a copy of Gyakuten Saiban 2, the Japanese version of the game, when it comes out in October. In a wonderful stroke of good luck, Capcom's decided to make the title available with English and Japanese languages built into Gyakuten Saiban 2. Now, since the game isn't region-specific, you can play it on any kind of DS.
On an related note, our source also mentioned that pre-ordering from Play-Asia will get you a sticker set with the purchase. If you're the type who likes stickers or just wants some new decals for his game machine, then it sounds like a pretty good deal.
Till the game comes out though, this court is adjourned. Keep checking QJ for more attorney-action and other game goodies.

Many games should have this option... I hate to wait months until we can finally get the game here in America... add 1-2 months for Mexico...
Multi-language game releases should be made "popular", even if the wait in America is for the instruction booklet translation.
I still don't understand why this isn't being released in the US at the same time. I mean if they've already translated why wait till after Christmas to release it? Surely they're missing out on sales that way?
YEA !!!!!!!!! OMG !!!!!! PRTY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!
PS. poft ftw
Will we have the option of English voice acting as well? See, because yelling "OBJECTION you stupid b*tch!" was half the fun...haha...
yep i purchased the first phoenix wright from play-asia with selectable language and you can either play through it in japanese or english (it counts as two seperate games) at the title screen it had an option under continue that said "English" and if you hit it the screen would yell "OBJECTION!" and then it would be replaced with the word "Japanese" and if you hit that it would yell "IGIARI!" and swap to Japanese
I wish they would do this with more games and just have one release worldwide. There are several japanese games, never released in the States, I have played that would have been better(for me) if they were in english.
It is good to play FF3 in english now since someone made a patch for it.
