Bob RossFollowing yesterday's reports on AGFRAG cancelling plans to make a Bob Ross videogame, the company named after the late artist quickly came out with a response today. Apparently only AGFRAG is out of the picture. The project, on the other hand, is still very much in the works.

"By hook or by crook there will be a game. There's no way we couldn't do a game because everybody wants one badly," clarified Jane Kowalski, Bob Ross Inc. Media Director. The official then went on to confirm that they have severed ties with AGFRAG. She explained:

I think they were sort of overwhelmed and they don't have the resources and the energy to tend to the huge demand that is needed. We are currently working on digging up the development team that has the swift enthusiasm to carry through.

To be quite frank, AGFRAG is one of the lesser known developers around. But for purposes of convenience and awareness, AGFRAG stands for Adaptive Gatekeeper & Fearless Rogue of Addictive Gaming Entertainment and is headed by Joseph Hatcher. Furthermore, Hatcher updated their rather bleak explanation yesterday. According to him:

I'm sorry that we have disappointed so many people on a certain project. Please realize we did what we felt was best, with the cards that were dealt to us and the situation we were in. We have learned from the experience and we won't make the same mistakes twice.

Lastly, Jane Kowalski maintained that they still prefer to launch the Bob Ross title on Nintendo platforms, the Wii and the DS. Regardless of what people think and say, Kowalski believes that the Wiimote and the stylus are perfect fits for the game.
