Geometry Wars: Galaxies dated for the UK next year |

Sierra Entertainment is sending out word that Geometry Wars: Galaxies by Kuju Entertainment for the Nintendo DS and Wii has received a set date for the UK region as well. Expect it to make a beeline for your handheld and consoles by January 18 next year - a little more than two months after its expected North America launch.And while that seems like a long wait, gamers in the UK have plenty to look forward to when their copy arrives. Geometry Wars: Galaxies on both systems will carry a single-player campaign, multiplayer mode, and WiFi connectivity.
Furthermore, the Wii can also link with the DS via GameShare to download a full version of Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved, originally seen on Xbox Live. We'll let you know if any more details - such as region pricing - are announced.
