Ó

Sonic & TailsThe Games Convention will be happening in Leipzig, Germany in less than a week! Taking place between August 23rd and August 27th, it is the third largest gaming event of the year! Sega has announced its lineup:

Medieval II: Total War (PC)
Sonic The Hedgehog (360, PS3)
Sonic and the Secret Rings (Wii)
Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz (Wii)
Virtua Tennis 3 (360, PS3)
SEGA Rally (360, PS3, PC)
Yakuza (ps2">PS2)
Phantasy Star Universe (PS2, PC, 360)
Full Auto 2: Battlelines (PS3)
Charlotte's Web (PC, GBA, DS)
Sonic Rivals (PSP)

It looks pretty Sonic-heavy! There aren't any new titles we've never heard of on that list there, but this is the first time Europe will get to see playable versions of Sonic and the Secret Rings, Sonic the Hedgehog, Yakuza, and Medieval II: Total War.

Ok, so here is one of the big publishers lineups and as you can see, the Wii get's none of the games that PS3 and Xbox 360 are getting. Like the gamecube it gets two kiddie games, Sonic and Super Monkey Ball.

And even the PS3/Xbox 360 get's SOnic as well as some of the cooler titles.

So, I honestly can't see how the Wii will survive long if this is the type of library we will see. It will be interesting to see EA's and other lineups in comparison for the Wii versus the Xbox 360/PS3.

Am I the only one bored by this lineup? They need something besides Sonic, after the last few games it seems to be getting stale.
