TRex - Image 1Dubbed as a cross breed of Pokemon and "Jurassic Park", Fossil League: Dino Tournament Championship (or Dino Grand Prix in Japan) follows the adventures of Taiga as he time warps to the Jurassic era to recover the "Big Mother" fossil.

Engage in RPG action and combat as Taiga battles it out with enemies to collect realistic 3D dinosaur models each with their own special powers. The game also features a "dinopedia", which will give players dinosaur tidbits and game tips as you progress through the mini-games, cook up special attacks, and go on archaeological digs in search of that all-important fossil.

Here are some of the game's key features:
  • Battle across Jurassic and Cretaceous Eras collecting Dinosaurs – Play as Taiga and adventure across historic and realistic dinosaur eras as they collect and battle more than 100 different 3D dinosaurs, each with their own realistic effects!
  • Educational “Dinopedia” – Players will learn true dinosaur facts and receive helpful game tips by utilising the only dinosaur encyclopedia available on the Nintendo DS.
  • Dual Screen Action – Utilise the touch screen for the Nintendo DS to experience fascinating archaeological digs.
  • Battle using multiple attacks – Your attacks grow stronger each time you use them.
  • Bonus Mini-Games – Find cool items playing fun mini-games such as mazes and fossil digs.
  • Wireless Multiplayer Mode – Collect as many dinosaurs as possible and compete in the Dinosaur Grand Prix at the end of the adventure.
Currently being developed by MTO, Fossil League: Dino Tournament Championship is slated for release April this year, and will sell for a SRP of £ 19.99 or US$ 39.
