Flipping Critters in Nintendo DS |
Ó

We have to understand that recently, the best of highly playable video games does not fall on long gameplay or blood spurting out of every zombie's neck. With the likes of Katamari Damacy, Wario Ware and Loco Roco, it seems that cute and cuddly characters who absolutely bear no great significance in this world are the hip thing in games. Hence, riding the bandwagon is Conspiracy Entertainment with their new game Flipper Critters developed by Hungarian Game designers, Zen Studios Ltd.
This game takes your regular pinball game to a cute and fantasy world where your little critters bounce like silly balls as they go through an adventure with every stage. Unlike a regular pinball game, you actually go through a story which you traverse through as you play the various pinball stages. Each stage will have missions that you must accomplish in order to proceed to the next stage. However, what makes this game a little more fun is the fact that other than the pinball game, particular areas can lead you to mini-games.
Using Nintendo DS' WiFi connection, you can play with a friend in one of the mini-games available for the game, Duel. The game prides itself in maximizing the DS' capabilities. If a game as fun as this makes sure you use every bit of your DS, then it could be worth your summer savings. The game is bound to be released on July.
