Nancy Drew proves to stand the test of time, and this detective chick that originated back in the 30s even gets her own DS game. Majesco Entertainment's Nancy Drew and the Deadly Secret of Olde World Park will be hitting Nintendo's handheld to take us through this ass-kicking teenage (she was a teenager back in the 30s, at least) babe's adventures.

What promises to be a challenging title developed by Gorilla Systems Co. also looks good, judging by the screenshots we have. Using the Stylus, we'd imagine the game will be pretty intuitive. There's a notebook on the bottom of the screen with easily accessible buttons, which should help a lot in solving crimes.

The story is all about Nancy trying to solve the mystery of a missing billionaire, Thaddeus Belmont. Expect some serious interrogations, puzzle solving, bribing, and more when Nancy Drew and the Deadly Secret of Olde World Park hits the shelves later this year.

Don't underestimate the power of timing

Coming out just after the movie was a stroke of genius. I work at a movie theater, and while I cannot possibly figure out why, the Nancy Drew movie was extremely popular. Now little girls will have Nancy Drew fresh on their minds when they see this game.
