Now, here's the sequel to that: animator Monty Oum gives us Dead Fantasy 2.
The video picks up right where the previous clip ended, and from that point on, it's 11 full minutes of orgasmic action. More punches and kicks are thrown around, including the occasional magic too, with Rikku, Yuna, and Tifa representing the FF fandom and Kasumi, Ayane, and Hitomi for the DoA crowd.
Here's the catch though. Three new characters are added into the Brawl - err, brawl, rather. We won't spoil you - our own jaws dropped when the new challengers appeared in the arena. And by the time you reach the end, you're treated - and teased - with one heck of a cliff hanger.
Man, when's the next vid coming out? Monty Oum mentioned that there are at least five more installments to his little project and he promises that we're in for quite a ride in the coming episodes of Dead Fantasy.

Does he uses any kind of engine or does he have a special program for rendering all these scenes? I don't think he created all this by himself, does he?
his work is always legendard, a pleasure to watch always, and yes he creates everything him self, he also did haloid which was totaly cool. but this is some of his best work yet, altho i think the fantasy girls cheat a bit with too much magic, a cool ultiamate boss would be xhanguar(sp the main girl from soul caliber)
That was simply AMAZING!
It's easy to see where his inspiration comes from....it's well known that "that time of the month" is extremely hard to "kill" :)
I'm seeing a lot references to the Tekken movelist here....

I liked the first one a little bit better, but this was *****ing crazy. I would have loved seeing someone other than Kairi on the FF side. Yuffie would have been sicker.

Looks like the FF girls (+ Kairi) won that fight, the DoA girls were just outnumbered.
I've seen some of Oum's other works, but this one just takes the cake.
