It's common knowledge that while Wiis and DS Lites have been out for some time now, there has been a short supply of both. Reggie Fils-Aime, president of Nintendo of America spoke about this problem in the Design Innovate Create Entertain (DICE). He mentioned that while they have manufactured four millions Wiis, they are having a problem getting it to the distributors.DS Lites however are a different story. Though it was released summer of last year in the US, consumers have been having a hard time procuring a unit. Nintendo released as many DS Lites as they could from it's release to December 25 last year. However, from December 25 to mid-January, they ran out of stocks. Expect the situation to have minimal improvement all the way to around March. When Pokemon Diamond and Pearl come out on April 22, expect things to be better.
Regarding Metroid 3, Reggie said that it would be fabulous. After the less than stellar sales that the previous Metroid had, we are all hoping it would be. They are going to make the FPS as great as they can and are hoping to blow the fans away when it comes out. Well, after all that hoopla, we are hoping things really do work out for Nintendo.

YEAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAHHHHHHHHH...>WHOO WHOO WHOO YEAH (YELLLS RALLY LOUD) Prime 3 is gonna rock. Sooo AWESOMEEEE!!!! I am gonna buy this game the day it comes out....ill be waiting at my local Mall early early, just so i can pick mine up when it hits the shelves.....though, i would like to hear some kind of Release Date.
I have one for you. I'm working in my local EB Games and the game is set for a november release in the computer. It's just a false date for now and I really hope the game arrive sooner than that.
