Featuring the first Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix game trailer

Well, that was unexpected. The Harry Potter Automated News Aggregator (HPANA) managed to get the very first trailer of Electronic Arts' new Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix videogame. While you can see the obvious video game allusions here and there, the game does look pretty good.

For instance, Hermione looks as cute as she does in the movies, and Harry's looking pretty good himself in this trailer. As for what to expect, you're bound to see the following bits of unrelated weirdness here and there:

Alan Rickman's face.
A kissing scene.
Marbles.
Spell-slinging children on crack.

In any event, this not only gets us anxious for the game, but makes us somewhat pine for the final installment in the series itself. In the meantime, just enjoy the video for now.

it would be really cool if they include mic support and you would call out spells on the mic and trigger the spell ... that would make the game a must buy for me

you should go look for videos of the GBA version then, it looks pretty much the same.

waw, i think it looks pretty bad. i mean look, most of the trailer they just show bits of castle that looks too dark.

and apart from one or two, the faces are nothing to write home about - they look flat and simply painted. and the movements are extremely iffy. and the graphics aren't gobsmacking. i doubt the gameplay will be any better.
