Famitsu: Square Enix readying for special event this August - Image 1According to this week's Famitsu, it appears that Square Enix may have some sort of event planned for the month of August. Not too many details are known yet regarding the event, which has been dubbed DKΣ3713.

What does that jumble of characters mean? We're not sure, but the posters over at the NeoGAF forums came out with their own speculation, leading to some very interesting possibilities. Here was Autumn Thread's assessment of what the characters may mean:
We once again remind the readers that the titles listed are just speculation, though the presence of Dissidia and FF13 may perk your attention. Next week's Famitsu is expected to carry more information regarding the Square Enix event, as will Square's members-only site for Japan. That's all the information we have for the moment, though you may want to visit again in case we run into any related updates.

so these are just completely random guesses right? I don't know if I would dub this news.

Does anyone other than me think that the exclusivity of FF13 will soon be compromised? Squeenix has been sucking a lot of Microsoft ***** lately.

» Scarface, you're an idiot.

It totally means nothing that Square Enix has already ENSURED the exclusivity of these two games. Seriously, people like you drive everyone else up the wall because you're not willing to accept the truth. I'm sure there are still retards out there that think MGS4 is just a "timed exclusive". Just give up. Go cry to someone that heaven forbid the PS3 gets an exclusive game. *****ing waste of an egg. Seriously, only PS3 owners have the rights to ***** about exclusive stuff, seeings how Microsoft pretty much managed to buy some rights to anything that was supposed to be a PS3 exclusive (Virtua Fighter 5, Devil May Cry 4, Assassin's Creed, etc, etc.).
