Famitsu readers want big games to go multiplatform

Resident evil 5 - Image 1Let's face it, one of the selling points of every console is the video games that it holds exclusively in its yard. It's part of every manufacturer's corporate strategy and is something not likely to go away soon. If it were up to the more level-headed gamers, however, a lot of them would like to play big titles on every console.

Famitsu, one of Japan's leading game magazines, recently released results from their poll and it seems that Japanese gamers want to see a lot of PS3 exclusives make an appearance on the Wii and the Xbox 360, along with a few others. Here are the games they picked:

1. Final Fantasy XIII - Square Enix's flagship series is a PS3 exclusive, and there's nothing to suggest that would ever change, but fans point to the still relatively small market share of Sony's high-end machine and say that the title could be a much bigger hit if it sold on the Xbox 360. Still, Sony and its loyal fans say that the market share of the PS3 will grow significantly once the title hits the racks.

2. Metal Gear Solid 4 - Hideo Kojima may already have chosen the PS3 as his proverbial theater for his latest tactical espionage thriller, but that didn't faze fans a bit in their quest to see Snake on the Xbox 360 and the Wii. It may never happen, but just the thought of using those CQC moves with a Wiimote makes me drool.

3. Biohazard (Resident Evil) 5 - The game that started with zombies and ended up with bug-infested Spanish villagers is thankfully headed for the Xbox 360 and the PS3, but it's pretty sad to think that the game following the highly successful Resident Evil 4 (which was first released on the GameCube) won't show up on the Wii. Even the younger crowd needs to learn how to surgically remove heads with a shotgun sometime, right?

MGS4, MH3, DQIX - Image 1 MGS4, MH3, DQIX - Image 2 MGS4, MH3, DQIX - Image 3 MGS4, MH3, DQIX - Image 4

4. Monster Hunter 3 - It's another PS3 exclusive, but this one is a clear favorite for the Japanese to go multiplatform. The Nippon are obviously obsessed about hunting with friends in Xbox Live and using the Wiimote to bag their prey.

5. Dragon Quest IX - After the Toriyama-inspired RPG Dragon Quest VIII became the phenom that it was on the PS2, many are disappointed that it would end up being a DS-only title. We know how crazy Japan is over this series, and it's not hard to imagine what a holiday it would be if it crosses over to the consoles. The game community would have its face rocked.

I hope they remain PS3 exclusive. I don't think Japanese like Xbox360 and the Wii don't sell after 2-3 years.

Has MS paid off Famitsu or something. 360 is bombing in Japan, and Blue dragoin didnt do that hot either. Can't see why majoirty of readers would want these games to go 360 side also.

M$ paidoff famitsu

by Madlax - 2007-04-08 23:19
» Definetly...

Microsoft paid Famitsu....no question about it

japanese gamers who barely bought 360 units would never say that they want FFXIII on the 360,that system is barely selling over there

this also explains how blue dragon gained such a high score while been extremely average [check the previews and the story]

thankfully, unli ke most of the world, the japanese are quiet intelligent and wouldnt simply follow commercial and ads

» Those games need to be...

"Here to stay" on the PS3!

by Madlax - 2007-04-08 23:39
» I have checked the original story...

it says in an [online] poll that famitsu made it was shown that:

1. Monster Hunter 3 (PS3) 316 votes

Readers would like to play it on the 360, with good online functions, controller (rumble support) and voice chat.

With multiplatform gamers, the online world would be a lot bigger.

Gamers want to hunt with the Wii remote.

2. Metal Gear Solid 4 (PS3) 314 votes

Gamers want to see the latest MGS on the 360 given the popularity of the series and the fact quite a few readers already own a 360.

3. Final Fantasy XIII (PS3) 196 votes

360/Wii as the current PS3 marketshare is not large enough - gamers feel if it were released on the 360 it would be a huge hit.

4. Dragon Quest IX (DS) 47 votes

5. Biohazard 5 (PS3,360) 37 votes

Other comments:

Releasing a good title on only one platform, like Dead Rising, is a total waste. Capcom, please!

If they release DQIX multiplatform, the game industry would explode.

pay attention that its [online],which means that microsoft can easily make fake contributions to the poll specially that the numbers are extremely few

only 196 voted for ffxiii, that game sells Millions

if only 196 wants it on the 360 it will hardly come

Apparently the survey was taken through Xbox live, which would explain why everyone wanted games on the 360.

Funny how all the games they want to go multiplatform are Sony games...no 360 games such as Halo (or Nintendo/Zelda) to go to Sony. Definitely a biased article. Probably a poll give directly to M$ or Nintendo fans.

» somthins wrong

there even as many 360s in japan as there are ps3 so the market share point is not even valid and the wii just doesnt have the graphical horespower to pull off most of those games without the developers having to re-tool the engines

» the reason it's only PS3 games

is because it's these PS3 exclusive games that Japanese gamers want to play. FFXIII and MGS are going to be huge in the US and Japan, and Monster Hunter will also be huge in Japan. Gears and Halo aren't as huge of franchises in Japan as they are here(probably because they're American).

u got a point there. the ps3 is out selling the 360 by miles in jap and the ps2 is still out selling the 360 world wide. so y lose 3 exclusive games?

the ps3 will catch up with the wii by the end of the year when decent games like socom, mgs games come out ect when exclusive games come out. thats the only thing thats keeping the ps3 in the console war. with out the decent exclusives even 3rd party like mgs and ff the ps3 could die as mic r paying gameing sites 2 write bad review for ps3 games, gamers see that ps3 games got bad reviews and they say "y the hell buy a ps3 when i can save £200 and buy a 360 which has games with a higher review in games ect

by RastaDator - 2007-04-09 07:27
» Im pretty sure

SONY will NOT lose FFXIII, MGS and Monster Hunter exclusivity. Those are flagships , genre-defining titles. Look at Ubisoft's Assesins Creed, while it was first deemed as a PS exclusive, Sony let it go, why? because this is an un-proven IP and being multiplat is console neutral so nobody is hurt. Another big title lost is DMC4, but now is no more a system seller, and SONY has a lot of other adventure and action titles to keep its fanbase more than happy, NGS, Uncharted, Heavenly Sword, GOW. On the other hand, while White Knight Stories can be a successful RPG IP it has yet to be proved, so FFXIII IS Sony selling card. Monster Hunter is other big title, both on consoles as on handheld, look how good MHF2 did recently, this thing will not be multiplat. MGS4 will sell PS3s around the world, many PS2 users and MGS fans are only waiting this title to jump to the PS3 bandwagon.

I'm sure Sony efforts, and even money, is being used to keep all these franchises exclusives. Devels get 2+ millions copies sold and Sony get a lot of PS3s out, everybody is happy except MS (which needs FF and MH desperately to improve their marketshare in japan).

by HAXorz - 2007-04-09 07:36
» yeah right

cause Japanese gamers are desperate to see the likes of MGS4 and FFXIII on the 360... oh wait theyre not, judging from those voting figures.

by hush404 - 2007-04-09 07:45
» RE: Heath

I think the point most rabbit sony fan boys are trying to put across (but never seem to conclude because they turn it into ramble and system wars) is that huge games from Sony's exclusive library are slipping into multiplat and fans of other consoles go "MORE MORE!!! MORE!!!" However, it's not a two way system and that is was p!sses off the Sony fan boys.

There aren't huge exclusives like Gears of War, Halo etc just jumping ship and hitting multiplat. In the end it's all give from the Sony side with no give from the other side, which I can see as an irritant for fans of the said company.

by cool dr j - 2007-04-09 07:48
» hmm

Why do you sonyfans thing the 360 bombed in Japan? When I'm on Lost Planet at like 3am about 80% of the people playing have Japanese flags next to their names, so obviously a greater percent of the japanese population own a 360 than you guys think.

Secondly, it wasn't a poll givin over Xbox Live like someone mentioned. It was a poll givin to a Japanese exclusive magazine, so again obviously some japanese want those exclusives to go multiplat. If indeed it was givin over Live then the numbers would be far greater then they actually are.

I personally hope they do go multiplat someday, because I don't plan on purchasing a bluray player (PS3) any time soon, not even for MGS or FFX. Plus they would sell much better on the 360 anyways since the fanbase for the console is exponentially larger. But either way I'm not worried about it. Keep the exclusives, or share them, it won't make a difference to anyone but selfish sony fans.

by 360 fan - 2007-04-09 08:07
» dumbass

How dumb can you be to not see the difference? Games like Halo and Zelda will never go multiplatform because those titles are owned directly by microsoft and nintendo. Games like FFXIII, DMC and MGS4, are NOT owned by Sony, they are all third party titles, and so those developers are free to release them on whatever systems they please. If you want dead rising on the PS3, then be my guest. But dont ever be such a pompus ass as to ask for a first party title like mario to go multiplatform.

by hush405 - 2007-04-09 08:17
» ?

Is there something wrong with your brain? These are not "Sony's great titles". They never were "Sony's great titles". FFXIII is Square-Enix's great title, and Square-Enix is not owned by Sony. They can release their game on whatever system they want. If developers are starting to favor the 360, then thats probably the one you should have bought.

by RastaDator - 2007-04-09 08:34
» Re: hush404

While many rabbit fanboys think in that way, at least for me that is not the big problem with third party exclusiveness. In my firts post I tried to explain why some big franchises which used to be PS exclusives are now multiplat, that franchises are not key to PS3 success, that is my point, and Sony can afford to lose exclusivity of them while keeping the important ones.

I dont believe this is a trade in of exclusives, MS big ones Halo, Gears (those are first party, they never will be multiplat) have not the same specific weight in Sony camp than MGS4 for example. I'm sure most PS gamer will not want give MGS4 in exchange for any third party game going exclusively to x360, not even for Halo3 if possible.

by Eh? - 2007-04-09 08:43
» what?

Blue Dragon bombed?

Can I get a link to that site that has that info, I thought Blue Dragon sold outrageously well in JP.

Eh, I'm not really impressed with the poll though, I don't care if anyone gets FFXIII without Sakaguchi it's not even worth playing (look at XII... ewww).

But the rest I really don't think I want to see MGS and Monster Hunter go mutliplatform I'd prefer Kojima and the other Devs to create new franchises if they want to develop for 360 and Wii -- Kojima said after MGS he's going to work on a 350 exclusive title yet to be named but other than that let's keep Sony exclusive where they need to be on a system that desperately needs them. They're the only reason I have that 15lb PoS at the moment, I don't watch that many movies...

The PS3 simply isn't worthy of such games. Not enough people will be able to experience them.

The PS3 is nothing but a blu ray player with limited Linux and media functions, that happens to come with a game controller. Games should be released on GAME CONSOLES!

by BluDiE - 2007-04-09 09:06
» F THAT!

Why the F^ck should these games go multi-plat! The biggest excuse is because it helps the game industry generate more revenue and increases budgets and whatnot, and hell I even accepted it when DMC4 went Multi-plat, with capcoms excuse of wanting to get games to the masses. Until they said they wouldn't port over Dead Rising or Lost Planet. SO ***** THAT, AND ***** MULTI-PLATFORM. If you want to increase your revenue thats fine, but don't veil it under an attempt to support gamers or say that you want to get games to the masses when gamers are asking for games and you say "I have not thing to comment about that at this time."

by Mister Common Sense - 2007-04-09 09:09
» definately not

Wow Microsoft must have so much money they can pay off any game magazine, website, and store employees. It's a conspiracy and that's why the PS3 is lowest in sales and support.

MY ASS.

Just because there actually is a region the PS3 sells better than the XBOX 360, doesn't mean nobody owns it! Just because it is in third place in Japan, 360 owners want some of the popular Japanese style games. Why is that so hard to comprehend? Sales of either system (PS3 or 360) aren't very high yet, and most people there are still using PS2s!

by Mister Common Sense - 2007-04-09 09:16
» Fantard request:

I've started another petition similar to the one regarding Devil May Cry 4. Go ahead and sign this new one saying how desperately the PS3 needs these exclusives. They are the only thing keeping any interest in the Playstation 3. The petition can be found online at www.rotten.com.

The PS3 market in Japan is ok. They don't mind buying an expensive movie player with no games.

by GrayWolf323 - 2007-04-09 09:31
» that didn't make sense

even with the small market share the PS3 is kicking the 360's ass in Japan

so porting MGS4, FFXIII, or Monster Hunter to it wouldn't make sense

and for them to go to Wii (along with RE5) also wouldn't make sense since there would have to be a huge graphical downgrade for them to be playable on the Wii

» a bit low?

I dont see how you are proud of 380,000 in 17 months. It is selling like crap and taking time to port games for 380,000 is not worth it. Continue to sell is an interesting phrase since Xbox1 continues to sell...about 1 unit a week. 360 is pulling 5,000 a week if it is lucky while Wii and PS3 are just going higher.

by D - 2007-04-09 10:12

why wont you ppl understand that the number of sales is not "centered" around Japan, when they releas a game on a system they look at the world sales of it. this is probably the reason why DmC4 went multi-platform not onley to the PC but 360 too, there are alot more 360 sold out there then a PS3, but for the PS3s deffence, this system hasent been out for a long time.

how many of them still work? maybe about 8 million?

ppl r on the 4th-5th 360.

ppl like modding there 360 and once they remove the waranty stiker mic wont repair them so the console goes into the bin

now ps3 sold just under 3mill and that number will go up by the end of the year because of 2 reason

1 we have some decent exclusive games someing out end of year

2 the ps3 will drop in price

now even tho halo is comeing out end of year most ppl have already bought the 360 so they wont sell much more nd this black 360 well theres been a lot of neg things about it and it doesnt look like ppl r gona buy it

It would also be fair of my 'gay' self to point out that the 360 is largely being outsold by both the PS3 and the WII in Japan, and has little chance of establishing any grip at all on their market in this generation.

In America it is easier to pawn off cheap ports and poorly produced games with little to no story lines to the mindless so long as the added benefit of online play is included.

As long as us Americans have the chance to snub the next one that comes along by showing him up via our superior gaming skills, then we can easily look past a poorly put together game with no story line.

» yes you

1. That was a stupid generalization. If a little under 30% of 360s had broke, you would not only hear alot more, but there WOULD be a lawsuit against Ms. This is pure BS. The number broken doesn't break even 150,000 i would venture to say.

2. People who like modding their systems and remove the warranty stickers are stupid. If they had the brain capacity to read they would realize that it says if you remove this sticker your warranty is void. This is a moot point.

3. The number will go up by the end of the year because it obviously can't go down, idiot. But to refute your two points

1. MGS 4 will not be out this year. Neither will FFXIII. Heavenly sword probably will but may not be. Heavenly Sword, warhawk, lair, a remake of an xbox game and a few others aren't gonna sell millions of systems. They need to get a killer app out there fast. These aren't really my words, I recally Sony reps saying the same thing about 3360 not having a poweful flagship game to lead, now they face the same situation wth 360 stealing more and more of their flagships.

2. No it won't. It just came out. Holidays are coming. With the surge of new games, they want people to be buying at this price, maybe after the holiday season they would drop it, but they are in a huge deficit right now. They have no time to think abut your pockets.

Your comment doesn't make sense either. Most people haven't bought a 360, there were over 30 mil xbox 1 users alone at the end of its life cycle. With games like Halo, Mass effect, Fable 2, Forza 2, Banjo kazoie 4, Resident evil 5, DMC 4, PGR 4, VF 5, Gears 2, Blue Dragon, lost odyssey and more coming out this year or next, not to mention a *****load of other highly rated games (oblivion, gears of war, PGR 3, Lost Planet, Dead rising, etc) already out, the 360 sales has no reason of slowing down. In fact disregarding the big titles like FFXIII and MGS 4, you can basically get a PS3 experience with even more games on a 360. With the exception of a few games (most of which aren't out), the 360 has any type of game you need.

» i've been thinking

i don't believe that these titles going multiplatform would indeed be 'good for the industry'... 'why!?' i hear you say, well...

basically if you can buy all the good games out there for one system in particular then that would effectively ruin the competition, ms would win outright due to the fact that their pockets are by far the deepest.

without competition things stagnate... just look at windows - what exactly did ms improve with vista? and don't say that lame desktop bullsh*t, if i wanted that i'd buy a mac. i guess dx10 is good...

anyway, this article smells distinctly like a ms-fuelled conspiracy type thing, BUT - and here's something i like about this story:

they didn't want any of the other systems' titles going mulitplat... why not? why don't they want gow or halo3 multiplatform? i guess it's because actually if they don't want a gory shooter game they haven't bought a 360 already and they're getting the other two, so they won't need multiplatform titles.

so the games japan wants most are the ps3 titles... that's good news! when those come out ps3 will sell like crazy ... it's only ps3 titles which are being pointed at as 'we want multiplatform'.

i'm not sure i'm making my point clearly, oh well, read it through and see if it makes sense.

lets see... x360 owners know that when those titles are released they'll need a ps3 to own them, and that makes them sad. but ps3 owners don't want gow or halo3... or at least those voted highest are by x360 owners who know that their system won't have the (potentially) best games due out in the next few years.

which ff did you play?

i'd say a good starter for people would be ff7, but if you didn't like 7 then try 8, it's quite different.

and if you don't like ff at all then a great rpg to appeal to different standards (imo) is kingdom hearts. (it's in the same story vein as ff, but the gameplay is different)

or try ff tactics, or try something like oblivion. or diablo2.

i don't really care about all these "exclusive-multiplatform" thing... all i want is to be able to enjoy my console, play the games i like and have a continuous supply of games to get me thru... i think that's fair...

i don't play games, like for exampla Final Fantasy or MGS, and think "wow this is a freakin kick a*s game!!! good thing the xbots can't play these in their consoles"... no it's not that and personally i think it's wrong... i think we should all have a grand experience when it comes to gaming since we work hard day-in and day-out and we earned the money we used to buy our consoles (except Mr. Common Sense who's mom can only afford an XBox)...

if the XBots want to feel the exhiliration that i feel when i play these games then good for them!!! they definitely deserve enjoyment on their console...

but the thing that gets to me though are the XBots gloating everytime there is noise regarding exclusives going multiplatform (like DMC4)... saying "oh ur PS3 is useless... oh we're now better than you..."

i mean what's that sh*t for???? why do XBots feel the need to always prove themselves... these guys are so insecure it makes me sick... most of these pips are kids anyway cause parents don't really go out and buy their child the high-priced PS3... but tell you honestly most young professionals here in Sydney has the PS3... this probably partly explains all the immaturity from these XBox fans.

PS3 gamers don't want GEoW or Halo 3? Who are you kidding? If this poll was carried out amoungst US and Europeon gamers, games like GEoW and Halo 3 would certainly be on the list.

PS3 will lose all its decent third party exclusives over time. The PS3's limitations are already showing. I don't want a bunch of year old games that haven't improved in the least. Even if blu ray succeeds, the PS3 will not be a cheap blu ray player for long. I wish I never bought this POS.

Funny, I used to think successful game consoles typically had lots of good games available for them. Thanks for correcting me. So that makes the PS3 the best game console ever and the XBOX 360 does nothing but play lots of great games with the best online in the business.

Yeah, blu ray makes all the difference. When you get bored of the 2 remotely entertaining games available you still have something you can use it for!

Don't blame me sony is screwing gamers.

I have as much right to be here as you, I used to support sony with 2 PS2s, 2 PSPs, 30 PS2 games bought at full price, and 4 PSP games. Now they want to use me and my money to push their stupid blu gay movie format and maybe turn out a few lackluster games when they feel like it.

» Money is more important than brand loyalty to a developer

PS3 developers intentionally add filler, redundant data, FMV (because in game rendered cutscenes don't look as good on PS3,) and uncompressed audio to make it seem the space is needed.

Man, my XBOX 360 version just can't look as good without all that wasted data! I need 25 gb of space so 16gb can be wasted! This wasted data is essential to the game quality, just look at motorstorm. If that game was on a DVD9, they could only have 4 tracks and no single player at all.

Do you realize how stupid your arguments are yet?

All of them were regarding problems that 360 owners were having with their consoles!

Don't believe me? Here's the headlines, see for yourselves:

Now just because I've had to have my 360 replaced two times already doesn't mean that I'm ready to jump ship. I'm WAAAY too big of a flaming fanboi to do something that makes so much sense like that! (Besides, the second time my console broke it was kinda my fault... I got the insides of my 360 all sticky when I was busy wanking off to Marcus' hot ass in Gears of War)

» Tut tut my alter ego...

Now that reason has settled in, I realize that the Japanese market is home to the majority of the most innovative ideas that lead to quality game initiatives.

And as long as Japan remains as the lead driving force for the highest of quality games, the Japanese market will continue to decide who gets the good stuff, and who is the lame duck in the end. (360, I'm looking at you)

LOL

I was just checking out Mass Effect, one game that I still hoped could provide an actually story line alongside with the 360 badge.

A couple comments I'd like to make... Really great character models with sub par facial expressions. But the environments... as 'Plain Jane' as they come. I still can't believe how lifeless they look. Just maybe Bioware hasn't called it quits just yet, but being so close to its release date, there's not much hope left since it's probably very close to production. Looks to be another sad attempt for the 360.

by To the flaming idiot - 2007-04-10 05:58
» lowering yourself again?

I can keep up this game ass long as you can, ass hole.

Microsoft pays more to fix consoles than anybody. My friend had a problem and got a new one in 2 weeks. They don't screw people over, they extended the warranty, pay shipping both ways, and give you a new one year warranty. They didn't require a $200 donation to help their blu ray sales figures while not caring about the games and give gamers who put Playstation on the map a big F U.

I have just as much right to be here as you. Just because I don't kiss sony's arse with every BS announcment that comes along, doesn't mean I have anything against the majority of these posters.

Just the ass holes that do the sh*t you're doing. I'm going to step up my efforts until you back down. If you want a real flame war, you got it.

by Mister Common Sense - 2007-04-10 07:10
» Money is definately a factor, but not how I originally pointed out...

After doing a little research to back up my previous post, I have found that only ONE PS3 dev has publicly stated that they added redundant data on their PS3 port, and they did so in order to speed up loading times on the PS3 version of the game.

And the resulting load times were leagues ahead of what was found on another similar console with massive pop in and long load times between new maps. But this is still something I consider a questionable act, when so much more is possible given the space and power of the PS3 system.

One poor decision made by a sad developer who was only focused on making a quick release to maximize their bottom line should not be the deciding example provided when discussing the usefulness of any systems capabilities.

This is in essence proof that ported games will provide little to nothing in terms of a quality gaming experience since they will always be dumbed down for the 'lowest common denominator' (360).

The PS3 allows for expansive environments, storage of inteligently compressed but lossless data all the while retaining high quality textures and high resolution sound. The 360 will always have this data cap caused by DVD9's limitations which in the end will cause devs to take shortcuts and cut out content while reducing the quality of the minimal content they are able to leave in game.

Unfortunately, the 360's massive storage limitations will only result in poor ported games for the PS3, and even poorer games for other systems.

An indirect example of this methodology... has any listened to a popular CD released today, and compared it's audible quality to something that was released over a decade ago? Digital space limitations, slow download speeds and cheap kids like myself who prefer repetition over new media have lead to a loudness war within the music industry, and these similarly mainstream attitudes will only lead to more cutbacks in the quality of our games when they're produced for systems with such limitations...

Luckily the Japanese haven't followed suit in the fight for quantity over quality... Hopefully their patient attitude with development will carry the PS3 and gaming as a whole through to the next level, while I, Mister Common Sense, will still remain to be an idiot.

The original Common Sense has been somewhat anti PS3 and sony so the second guy is almost always an imposter. I'm not siding with either person but everyone needs to use their own name. This constant back and forth between you two is making me sick, as with most of the other people reading this.

Now with the long report BS lies. Seriously you should give it up.

"Unfortunately, the 360's massive storage limitations will only result in poor ported games for the PS3, and even poorer games for other systems."

Yeah sure, blame it on the 360. And you call me the liar. Why can't you admit the PS3 is hard to develop for and has severe unnecessary limitations? It only has 1/5 the memory bandwith of the 360, only one true processor core vs. 3 for the 360, no hardware scaler chip, an inferior off the shelf graphics chip, and non unified memory architecture?

Nothing you said makes sense in the least. I really don't understand what you are trying to do by stealing others' names, making a long post that almost sounds intelligent (if it made sense,) then insulting the person you're impersonating again.

Seriously, what the hell are you trying to do?

From impersonating and insulting to just making up BS, you keep getting lower.

Yes, most PS3 games waste 75% of the storage available. Wouldn't the PS3 games be better if they actually needed that storage? Oh yeah you convienently blamed it on the 360, the "inferior" system.

Actually, I bought my ps3 because I enjoy the library of games the PS2 had and losing the exclusives really annoys me because I bought my ps3 for those same games on the PS3. I bought a wii for the 1st party titles not 3rd party. I have a PS3 for that. I don't want GeOW, Crackdown, or Halo 3. I want games like Shadow of the Colossus and Monster Hunter 3. The stuff the PS2 was known for.

» Japanese still Remember Hiroshima. 360 gamers are redneck, racists who don't want cultural diversity in their games

The reason why japanese and cultural centric games like Japanese RPG's don't do well on Microsoft systems are because the fanbase at large are ignorant American pricks. It's not only XBOX Live which showcases the racism and ignorance of typical Xbox fans, nearly 80% of all online games played on Live I guarantee you will hear the word "*****" and "jew" used a lot (*watches an XBOT smirk and giggle*), you will see the ignorance reflected in game sales of cultural specific games, games starring ambiguous looking men and other such traits of the Japanese game -- Xbots can't stand it. Xbots don't want cultural diversity, they just want action games, they just want to shoot the same thing over and over in the same way.
