Famitsu most wanted: FFXIII dethroned, replaced by DQIX for DS |
Ó

For over a year now, it's been the same old story in Famitsu's Most Wanted list: Japanese gamers who took part in their polls voted Final Fantasy XIII as the most anticipated title. It's claimed the throne for over twelve months already, but that's changed now.
What are Japanese gamers looking forward to the most these days? Dragon Quest IX for the DS. Yeah, leave it to the Japanese gamers to replace an RPG with another RPG - another Square Enix RPG, for that matter - on their most wanted list.

- Biohazard 5 (PS3, Capcom)
- Monster Hunter 3 (Wii, Capcom)

- Final Fantasy Versus XIII (PS3, Square Enix)
- The Last Remnant (PS3, Square Enix)

- Street Fighter IV (PS3, Capcom)
- Seventh Dragon (NDS, Sega)
- Ninokuni: The Another World (NDS, Level 5)

- PS2: 1

- PSP: 1
- Square Enix: 7

This is what happens when a game gets slim to none coverage.
More like this is what happens when you have a track record of making mediocre games.
I dislike portable gaming... When I'm taking the subway and the bus, I prefer listening to musics on my ipod, I don't want to "think" at all. I mean, I take public transportation each morning to go to the university, and back. The morning I'm too tired to think, and after university, I'm done with thinking... lol.
Anyway, I'll sleep now... it's 6:05 AM in GTM-5 (mtl, canada, for me :D).
i know how you feel. I don't really play psp "on the go." First of all i feel everyone is looking at me if I have a psp out, and what is the point of playing for 10 mins and then stopping? The only time I play it is when I'm bored at home...
