English Training: Have Fun Improving Your Skills for the DS will change the way to learn language. The DS game will be available in Europe this October 13. The fun educational game is designed to improve gamers' writing skills via the DS touch-screen. The gameplay involves dictation exercises where spoken phrases must be written down using the stylus. At the end of each exercise, the game checks the written text for spelling and grammar. English Training (£16.99/$32.00) also helps hone speaking skills using a voice recognition feature to assess spoken phrases.
Other tests, if you could call them that, includes English Training Competition, English Word Test Competition and Dictation Race Competition. To measure one's performance, the game has a calendar system for tracking skills development.
