Website Shack News did quite a lot of detective work to find out that there's something going on behind Electronic Arts' Wikipedia pages. Shack News is claiming that multiple attempts to erase EA founder Trip Hawkins' information from the Wiki have been tracked down to be from EA's Redwood headquarters area.Using the Wikipedia Scanner, they found out that a modification - done back in November 20, 2006 to remove Hawkins' name from EA's "key people" section on the company's Wikipedia page - was done using a computer with the supposed IP from EA. The same user also removed the references for Hawkins and took away a paragraph about the big man's business plan.
A couple of months after, someone using the same IP tried to remove Hawkins' name from the "History" section. Strange enough, the reference for him was back on the page. Some other changes by who we can assume as the same user, include removing some paragraphs from "Criticism" section and putting a spin on the lawsuit filed by overworked, under-compensated employees to make EA look a little better.

Wiki has all this info archived, if they view the modification as unsanctioned and unnecessary they can restore the article to its previous state in a few minutes (a mod just has to notice it's been changed)

WHY is EA even called a "gaming" company to begin with. they make a half a$$ed game engine and belt it out on as many consoles as possible then rake in a proffit. no effort goes in to tweaking a game or anything just
make a game with half the money that a propper DEV TEAM whould need and finish make the game at half the
time, these bugs, glitches and whatnot are of no concern to them, i think they have some 'all purpose' game engine that they make all their games with. no mercy for the employees are sure to make them goof up. their

Capitalistic isn't a pejorative. Capitalism isn't based on monopoly, it's based on completion, which makes better products, which is bad for companies, but good for consumers (though as long as more people buy the better products, it's good for the company too). Don't use the word "capitalist" again until you understand *****ing economics, retard. I don't like EA either (don't like sports games; prefer the real deal) but I like idiots using the word "capitalist" even less.
ea is the worst company in the videogame industry today worse than sony they dont care about gamers just money and their biggest selling game madden sucks but people still buy it because the dont have a choice
EA is more of a developer than a publisher. Sony is the opposite.
Madden has a history of glitches. Even worse, it's developer, EA Tiburon hasn't produced a single good game. Not one.
Sony doesn't branch out as badly as EA. Their main office is in Japan and most of their development is done there. As a result, the have more control over their Quality Assurance.
Now that I think of it, I can't even remember a single Sony game. Thus, your comparison sucks.
