EA reveals new Need for Speed for this year |

Game developer/producer Electronic Arts appears to be working on a new Need For Speed title, based on a recently released financial report by the company. And while most details for the game are still sketchy, the report hinted that this new game may be released by this 2007, albeit stating which console this latest NFS game will be heading for.That's it for the moment, although we're hoping to pick up more details in upcoming events like E3, and other high-profile conventions. And given that this new title is hinted at a 2007 release, we strongly doubt it's going to be handled by Mr. Spielberg - his game doesn't come out until 2008.

I like Most Wanted but carbon is too dark and more cheesy. I hope they don't slap together something junky. I want "The Need For Speed" to be a proud franchise that will live up to the legend that they originally created.

I have to say, with my experience with the Need for Speed franchise, my favorite NFS has to be Hot Pursuit 1 & 2. I still play Hot Pursuit 2 for the Gamecube every now and then.
you my friend are one oof the smartest people on earth. hot pursuit 2 OWNED it up.
i agree with carter about hot pursuit 1, because i use to love that game, but i dont really like HP2. i think that all the undergrounds and carbon are really good games, and graphic in carbon is not bad, is just different
