EA rebuilds SimCity franchise on Wii, DS with SimCity Creator |
Ó
Old school players will be at home with the Wii version of the game as it brings back familiar game mechanics such as zoning, iconic buildings and even disasters. In addition, players can choose from a variety of building styles which can affect the appearance of your entire city.
The neat thing about SimCity Creator for the Wii is the fact that you can share your creative civil plans with other people throughout the world with the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection network. Through the service, you can give access to the cities you've created in mission mode and get feedback and rankings from other players as well.
The DS version will feature the same basic gameplay, but with its own unique spin added to it. Players can get the chance to evolve their cities across different eras - from ancient times to the modern era and all the way into the future.
SimCity Creator is scheduled to be released this September 19 in Europe, with a follow up in North America by September 22. Until then, why not sit back and enjoy the bevy of screenshots we were able to collect from the game.

Oh, this looks sweet. I'm gonna be all over this game. I miss SC2K. I think I need to go install it again.
Why not just play the old game rather than buy another Nintendo recycled game?
You shouldn't reward them for recycling everything.
