Dungeon Explorer to be released on the Nintendo DS |
Ó
Way back in 1989, there was a Hudson Soft game called Dungeon Explorer for the TurboGrafx-16. This top-down action RPG has become a cult classic and is still considered as one of the better games of its generation. Younger players who weren't able to try the original will be getting a chance to do so since a remade version of it will be launched on various platforms namely the Xbox 360, PSP, and now the Nintendo DS.The newer system does away with the stricter character job system and offers eight different schools upon which your avatar's various moves will be based on. While this may seem a bit different from the original game which had eight character classes (nine if you count the hidden class), it still stays remarkably true to its predecessor.
So far no release date has been announced for this game, so we'll have to wait for an official announcement regarding this. The game looks to be shaping up pretty well, so RPG fans might want to be on the lookout for more news about this title.
