DSerial - New NDS interface device

Natrium42 has created a new device for the Nintendo DS system which would allow homebrew developers to add more features to their games. This device, as pictured to the right, will be inserted into your DS game slot and is not a homebrew-enabling device. This will simply serve as a tool for NDS owners and add more functionality to their NDS homebrew games.

This device has USB access, but does not act as a USB host. It has a built-in tilt sensor for homebrew and status LEDs. There hasn't been anymore information released on this device, but we will tell you as soon as we know!

I remember something like this poping up on the 360 community sites. Instead it was a mod chip, that kept updating with "its coming soon, we promise!" slogan.

Then after weeks of waiting and a bunch of evidence pointing to scam, they just disapeared.

I am wondering if something similar would happen with this device? If not, it would be quite interesting to see what is done with it - if Nintendo (smartly) doesnt end up picking up the rights to it.
