MoonShell - Image 1Another week, another Moonshell update! Well, considering this is a beta run for v2.00, we can probably expect more of these incremental updates.

The previous release focused more on getting some flashcart compatibility issues ironed out. This time, it's a mixed bag of improvements, fixes, and additional functions. Notes from Infantile Paralysiser:

This package is an update version. (It is a provisional reception because there was no time to make a full package. ) Please copy 'moonshl2.nds' and '/moonshl2' folder onto the disk where 'Version2.00 Beta.8.1' is installed in the superscription.

Content of temporary update:
  • The ROMEO2 reception program was built into.
  • The file number under on the screen of the image display corrected the bug that was '1/ 0' always.
  • When 'Previous music' or 'Next music' was done in the music performance, the bug to which the play icon was not renewed was corrected.
  • Power supply LED was turned off while performing the DPG animation. Blinking when pausing.
  • The eraser and the undo function were to the note pad.
  • Only when not performing music, the screen saver setting screen is displayed.
  • A very long file name corrected the bug that overlapped with the file information.

I'm relatively new to the DS homebrew scene but this is how I got moonshell working. First you will need to download moonshell beta 8.1, as 8.2 is only and update. In the zip file of 8.1, you want to extract moonshl2.nds and moonshl2 folder onto the root of your flash card. Then you want to run LanguageSelect.exe which will then ask you for the directory in which moonshell is installed (Drive letter of your microSD card). There you will be able to set your GUI settings to english, as Japanese is the default. Updating to 8.2 isn't difficult either, just follow the instructions above ^^.
