The homebrew coders from the SSBRumble DS team has released a new version of Super Smash Bros. Rumble DS, a homebrew game based on the ever popular Wii game Super Smash Bros. The latest update features 21 new characters, added collision detection, timer, attribute system, new stages and various other improvements.

Version 0.6 changelog:
  • -Collision Detection Added!
  • -Dynamic Camera Added!
  • -Character Selection Screen Complete!
  • -Stage Select Added
  • -Custom Font Added
  • -Timer Added
  • -Basic Character and Stage Attributes System Added (Makes adding them easier and unique)
  • +See how Luigi moves slower but jumps higher than Mario
  • -Save System Added (No use for it yet)
  • -21 Characters Added!
  • +If you pick a character and it loads Diddy, it means they don't have a strip yet!
  • -2 Stages Added!
  • -Lots of Issues Fixed!
  • -Basic Control Added!
Developer's note:

You can only play as one player, no CPU's yet. Don't fret though, the next demo will definitely have CPU's (and hopefully some AI).

Only change i would wanna see is Captain Flacon. IMO, main character from f-zero takes priority over Deoxys, or for that matter waluigi. Not to mention i'm pretty sure a large majority of players choose him or Fox, another one you don't have on there (two of the highest speed characters in the game that aren't super tiny).

Works on my clone R4 card.
Why did you put Deoxys and not Mewtwo?
Also Ganondorf and Bowser are in here they're just not completed.
Also for those who don't know you can only jump and run.

This is a terrible choice of characters. Really? Animal Crosser? That's just retarded. I've gotta admit some of them are creative, like Deoxys and Geno, but I personally think you should at least include the Star Fox group.

And also, WHERE THE HELL IS DONKEY KONG?!?!
YOU INCLUDED THAT WORTHLESS SHIT MONKEY BUT NOT DONKEY KONG?!?! I SAY ALL SMASH GAMES SHOULD INCLUDE ALL THE ORIGINAL CHARACTERS FROM THE FIRST SMASH BROS.

There are no attack moves, story line, AI, or multiplayer and you are telling the developer(s) he/she/they suck and should make a rediculous amount of characters... its not like a lot of characters wouldn't be awesome but don't be assholes about it. Good luck finish this and thanks for doing it. only one idea would be Tidus from FFX
