rumbleA new version of the highly addictictive homebrew game Super Smash Bros. Rumble DS has recently been released courtesy of homebrew coders Neeher, Diddy and PS991. The latest demo update has added s ton of features like unlockable characters, 8 new stages, 10 new characters, side collisions,  new title screen graphics, new sprites and more.

Developer's note:

Unlockable Characters, 8 new stages, 10 new characters, side collisions,  new title screen graphics, new sprites for Olimar, Geno, and Marth, Double Jump(some characters have more than 2 jumps), Running (double tap the D-Pad), Pausing, CREDITS and a CPU! (Btw, to leave a match, pause and then press select).

There are multiple ways to unlock characters (since there are a limited amount in the beginning), so explore the features mentioned above*HINT HINT HINT* and I am sure that you can unlock them all! Only 31 characters are unlocked (aka, the characters that have sprites done), so don’t get frustrated if you see a bunch of locked icons.

New stages:

  • Brinstar
  • Hachiko
  • The Beginning
  • Treetop Town
  • Battlefield
  • Kamek’s Castle
  • Dalfino Plaza
  • Jungle Japes

I can get ingame, but does the CPU not work or... something? And I can't attack either. The only thing I can do is jump, which isn't consistent (sometimes I jump so high I die and sometimes I jump like I guess I'm supposed to). And only one CPU appears, which isn't moving, but randomly appears and disappears all over.
