Developer Risike has released his tool to test the performances of Micro Lua DS, the Ball Mark. He explains that this brew app will draw a lot of bounding and rotating balls of various color, size and speed, and to random directions. Further description states that "it will add for one minute and 20 seconds trying to remain at 30 fps. After the alloted time, it will display the maximum number of balls it can display. So far, he's only tested it on GBA and got 58 balls. Unfortunately, he has not yet tested this on a real DS.
Here's also what he has to say about the application: In any case can be moved on display 58 images by all possible operations above (change of color, rotation and zoom), which seems quite reasonable given that one can display Maps and a map s' almost as quickly displays an image.
