It turns out that the iPhone isn't the only new handheld frontier Dirk the Daring is out to conquer this month. Digital Leisure today announced that Nintendo's DSiWare service will soon be home to Dragon's Lair as well.
On December 21st in North America and January 1st in Europe, players will take on the role of Dirk the Daring, a knight on a quest to rescue the fair Princess Daphne from the clutches of an evil dragon.
The DSiWare port will feature the game in its original animated form, which is apparently a first for any Nintendo handheld system.
